Corrosion Resistance

The most widespread application of electroless nickel technology is to provide superior corrosion protection in a multitude of corrosive environments.

Hardness:

46-48 Rc as applied but can be heat treated to bring the hardness up to 68 Rc

Phosphorus

We offer nickel coating at low, medium, and high phosphorus levels.

• Low 2-5%
• Medium 6-10%
• High 11-14%

Thickness:

E-Nickel can be applied from .0005” to .003” of thickness with a uniform coverage.

Substrates:

E-Nickel can be applied to a variety of metals: stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, brass, nickel and its alloys.
